Roots represent the female energy of the Moon. The Moon represents balance and fluidity. Just as the roots draw life from the earth to feed the tree and ensure for its growth and health, so too does the Moon nurture and support all growth on earth. When under the influence of the Moon we need to stay neutral, passive and open, and through the flow of the Moon we both direct and are directed to where we need to work and act.
